Six months ago, you couldn't pay me to get off the couch. I'd stop at the wine store, drop dolla dolla bills, and plop my ass down right in front of the tv and bust out HOURS of video games. Kalie would ask me to try the Insanity workouts with her, I'd ask her to kiss my ass.
Four months ago, I made the decision to lose weight and dragged my ass out of bed at 5AM and listen to Shaun T scream down my throat. I was convinced to drink this Shakeology drink every day too - it was DELISH so whatever, one meal a day, I GOT THIS. It was the longest 60 days ever, but each day it felt great to check off that workout.
Two months ago, I was down 20 pounds and felt like a teenager off his ADD medicine - crazy amount of energy from the workouts AND the Shakeo drinks. I fell in love with the programs, the shakes, and wanted to help people who were going through the same ordeal. Again, Kalie asked me to go to a Live Insanity class with Erin Goodman Furner and meet all these Beachbody Coaches in her team. First class ever, I was up front with a room full of woman - doing pelvic thrusts (or Hip Ups) and showin em my business. Embarrassed? Aww YEAA!
One month ago, I JUMPED out of my comfort zone and decided to get certified to run Insanity classes as well. I said to myself, "Self, how in the HELL are you going to motivate these people to come back to your classes each day and be walking proof that these programs work?"
Today, I'm still running the classes and pursuing a job that I'd actually LOVE to go to each day. I run the Challenge Groups to help people through programs like Insanity, TurboFire, P90X, and T25 because having that Coach is what motivated me and kept me accountable to finish the program and lose the weight.
Trey, fast forward TO THE POINT.
Jump out of your comfort zone - do pelvic thrusts in front of a room full of women. Try something new to better yourself and those around you. Create a hobby that may turn into a passion - and then, turn that passion into reality.
Moral of the story, I jam out to 90's music ALL DAY ERRRR DAY.
